Paul McCormick

He was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. Mr. McCormick has tried several high profile murder/homicide cases and is a frequent lecturer/presenter at CLE programs throughout Colorado.
He is a past president of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and during his tenure, was instrumental in setting up the Colorado Office of Alternate Defense Counsel and in creating a lobbyist in the legislature to advocate for the interests of the criminally accused when legislators are considering bills which affect the criminal justice system.
Mr. McCormick has authored numerous articles concerning the frequent changes to the criminal law to help facilitate his fellow criminal defense attorneys staying current.
In prior incarnations, Mr. McCormick has been both a prosecutor and a public defender.
